The Beaver Dam

It started out with an impulse to paint a beaver lodge from last year's canoe trip to Killarney. That impulse played out fairly well. See Exhibit A.

Dome-shelled Galapagos Tortoise

After completing the marine iguana as my final project for NHI101x, I was inspired to keep up the Galapagos theme. I chose to do a tortoise in graphite, given I was getting comfortable with it as a medium. Again.

Natural History Illustration 101: 6 weeks

I recently completed a 6 week illustration course called Natural History Illustration 101. It was run online by the University of Newcastle in Australia. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend it. 

Here I have assembled all the work I completed over the 6 weeks. I've done this to get a view of my progression throughout the course.
